Pockets of Learning designs, manufactures and distributes heirloom-quality cloth toys and
gifts which are characterized by their play and learning value. The products are developed
through consultants, focus groups and field-testing. They are also tested and safety certified for children of all ages.
Made in the Philippines, these handcrafted gifts exemplify fine embroidery skills and
attention to detail. Pockets’ reputation is also based on innovative product design
and excellent customer service. Our products are distributed to a wide range of
prestigious, upscale retailers throughout North America, Europe, Japan and
Australia.
The company started in 1989 and has grown to become the leading force within the high-end
cloth toy gift market. Pockets of Learning is located in
Warren, Rhode Island U.S.A. The executive offices, customer service, operations and warehousing
are conducted at this location.
We also maintain an office in Manila with a
staff
responsible for manufacturing
process, safety testing and quality control.

Our Objectives
- We are the leading manufacturer of
high-quality, hand-crafted, unique fabric children's toys and
gifts.

learning. They offer a variety if interactive and imaginative
activities for infants, toddlers and children up to age 6
Product Line
- Cloth books, soft sculptures, read, listen &
play sets, travel bags, wall hangings, religious/ holiday items,
baby gifts and Press 'n Dress™ dolls and outfits. Suggested
retail: $14.95 - 39.95.
- Products are hand-crafted in the Philippines in
hundreds of family homes, a concept called "Cottage Crafts",
providing in important source of local income for families who
still practice their proud tradition of high-end sewing and
embroidery skills.
- Our product have received dozens of National
Awards from such parenting and toy watch groups as: Oppenheim Toy
Portfolio, Dr. Toy, Parent's Choice, National Parenting
Publications, and Toy Directory.
- We have subtly re-designed out top selling
products to allow for personalization through embroidery. The
finished product appears without unsightly backstitching that is
commonly found in the embroidery process. We also offer to
embroider and drop ship these items for participating retailers.
Safety/ Customer Service:
- All of our products are tested for children of
all ages (birth and up) complying with Federal and International
Safety Standards.
- Missing Pieces Pledge assures parents (or
teacher) that if a fabric component to any of our products is
lost, they only have to call our toll-free number - replacements
parts sent promptly.
- Our Customer Service staff is always eager to
assist both consumers and retailers with any concerns or
requirements.
