certified SAFE FOR ALL CHILDREN FROM BIRTH AND UP.
Pockets of Learning
products are tested by an international agency, and safety certified for
children of all ages. Our company insists on
testing all
of our toys to be
"SAFE FOR ALL AGES,"
from birth on
up. Therefore, “Recommended Ages” on our
website refer only to the appropriate age for PLAY value. Each product, however, has been safety tested
for all ages.
By contrast, many manufacturers have tested and
labeled their products only "Age 3 and up." By specifying “Age 3 and up,” those
manufacturers are not required to meet certain standards, such as standards
relating to choking hazards.
We recognize there is no feasible way for parents to
segregate toys from younger siblings, once the toys are in the home. We
feel that this is particularly true with soft cloth toys, which have special
appeal to the under-3 year old. Therefore we
have taken extra steps to provide parents and teachers with the assurance that
our products are safe for all children from birth and up.
